Returns and Exchanges


If you are not happy with your selection you have the right to cancel and return your order within 7 days from the date of the delivery.

Should you wish to cancel and return the goods. Please contact us via sales@tileboutique.nz with the full details including your name and invoice number.

We offer 2 options in regards to a refund or re-selection of goods.

Refund – We will refund via the same payment method you used for purchase, less a 25% handling and restocking cost. You are required to arrange delivery back to us in Wanaka.

Re-selection – We will provide an 80% credit for you to use against re-selection of another Tile Boutique product. You are required to arrange delivery back to us in Wanaka.

Refund or Credit can only be processed after we have received the goods in good condition and in their original packaging . So when freighting back please ensure the goods are securely packed and strapped on pallets in original boxes for safe return.

Note – Products specifically indented, or any Sale items, Clearance Lines and Promotional items are not able to be returned unless goods are faulty or incorrectly supplied. This does not affect or limit your rights under "New Zealand Consumer Guarantee Act 1993" or "New Zealand Fair Trading Act 1986"

Tiles left over at the end of your project

We recommend that you keep some spare tiles at the end of your project. These are invaluable should you ever need to make a repair to a damaged area, or where plumbing and / or appliances require replacing.

You may not find the same tile in years to come and if you do – It will be a different shade and batch.

If you have some unopened boxes left over once your project is completed we may be able to accept these back and issue a store credit providing they are in resalable condition. These must be returned in full unopened boxes and acceptance will be at our discretion.

Faulty Items | Incorrectly Supplied Orders | Damaged Items

If something is wrong or a mistake is made please contact us via sales@tileboutique.nz so we can resolve the issue.

Damaged product must be noted at time of delivery. We recommend you take photos asap. No claims can be made for items that have been signed as received in good condition.

Incorrect quantity or incorrect type of product must be notified in writing to sales@tileboutique.nz within 48 hours of delivery. We may ask for photos and will arrange for collection of any items sent in error.

Claims for incorrect product or damaged goods that have been installed or used will not be considered. This policy does not affect your rights under Consumer Guarantees Act or Fair Trading Act.
